This page explains how Wheel of Teams makes its pages, where its lists come from and what to do if you spot a mistake.
How pages are written
Pages on Wheel of Teams are drafted with AI assistance. A person then reads, checks and edits each page before it is published, and again when it is updated. The month of the latest revision is shown at the top of every tool page.
We do not publish invented statistics, reviews, ratings or testimonials. If a page gives a fact, it should be one you can check in a standard reference source.
How lists are compiled
Most tools draw from a list: animals, prompts, questions, team names and so on. The whole list is printed on the tool's page, so you can see exactly what a tool can produce. Under each list there is a short note that says how it was compiled and under what licence it is shared.
Lists are reviewed for accuracy, for duplicates and for entries that are not suitable for the page's audience. Pages written for children are reviewed with that audience in mind.
How results are chosen
Results are picked at random in your browser. The first result you see when a page loads is fixed for that page, so that the page shows something useful before any script has run; every result after that is random.
Names of leagues, games and products
Some pages refer to a league, a game or a product by name because that is the plain way to describe what the tool is for. Wheel of Teams is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the owners of those names. We use text only, never logos.
