Funny chili team names by set
Heat puns is the first set in the menu: Too Hot to Ladle, Off the Scoville Scale, Capsaicin Captains. Bean and no-bean jokes has Human Beans and Bean Skeptics. Pot, ladle and slow cooker has Ladles First and Don't Lift the Lid.
A name for the entry card
Names for the chili itself is the fifth set, for the card in front of the pot: Old Faithful Red, Verde Good Chili, Entry Card Says Mild, Second Place Last Year. The Scoville scale measures how spicy a pepper is, and capsaicin is the main compound it measures.
