How this list was compiled

A list of 111 flower team names written by Wheel of Teams on 2026-10-03 and filed in five groups: one name for each flower, bloom, petal and garden puns, garden clubs and plant swaps, girls' teams and youth groups, and flower names for class tables. Every flower named was looked up on 2026-10-03 in its own English Wikipedia article (among them https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulip, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dahlia and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon), text under CC BY-SA 4.0, and the line under a name follows the opening of that article in our own words. The answer on what a bunch of cut flowers is called follows the Wiktionary entry bouquet (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bouquet), read the same day. The names are our own work; none was taken from a florist, a seed or perfume brand, a song or a film, and any match is a coincidence. Compared by script the same day with every other list on this site: no name is repeated. Nothing was checked against a trademark register. Licence: own work
