How it works
This game night scoreboard totals a whole evening of different games: one row for each game, one column for each player and a running total. Print it blank for the fridge door, or type the points and the sheet names who leads.

Print it or type on it
Print blank sheet prints fifteen numbered game rows and a night total. To keep score on a screen, type each name under Player 1 to Player 3, then after every game type 3 for the winner, 2 for second and 1 for third. The + after the last column adds a player, up to eight.
Two other ways to count
Winner takes it gives one point to the winner of each game, so the night goes to whoever wins the most games. Teams has a column for each of two to four teams on the same 3, 2, 1 scale.
- Two players level in a game both take the higher points.
- Rows are numbered, so write each game's name beside its number on the printed sheet.
Questions and answers
How do you keep score for a family game night?
Give points for each game by place, then add them up. This sheet suggests 3 for first, 2 for second and 1 for third, with one row for each game and a night total for each player.
How do you score a game night with different games?
Score places, not each game's own points. A card game and a word game cannot be added together, but first, second and third can, so every game is worth the same 3, 2 and 1.
Can I print a blank game night scoreboard?
Yes. Print blank sheet prints the open sheet empty on Letter or A4: fifteen numbered rows, a column for each player and a line for the night total.
What if two players tie at the end of the night?
The sheet marks them as tied. One more short game between the level players gives a single winner, or the two can share the night.
Does it work for teams?
Yes. Choose Teams for two to four teams on the same scale. If you only pair up for one game, stay on the first sheet and give each partner the points of the pair's place.
