Scoring key

Cricket uses 20 down to 15 and the bull
A dart in any other number counts for nothing.
Three marks open or close a number 3
On one turn or over several, and in any order.
A double is two marks, a triple three
A triple opens or closes a number with one dart.
Outer bull one mark, inner bull two
Outer ring 25 points, inner circle 50.
On a chalkboard: slash, X, circled X
One hit, two hits, three hits. Here you type 1, 2 or 3.
Open a number first and it scores for you
Each further hit scores its value: a triple 20 is 60 points.
Extra hits of the opening dart score too
A triple on a number with two marks: one opens, two score.
A number both sides have closed is out of play
Once the opponent has three marks, nobody scores on it.
Type each number's points so far
The sheet adds them. It does not work out who may still score.
Close everything with equal or more points
That side wins. Behind on points? Score on your open numbers.
Calling a game early
One side alone has open numbers and leads: nobody can catch up.
Closest to the bull throws first
Each side throws one dart, the diddle. Level? Throw again.
Each turn: up to 3 darts 3
The score is totaled after the third dart.
Record a score before the next throw
A score not recorded before the next player goes does not count.
For two, three or four sides
A team's players fill one column between them.

How this list was compiled: The layout is our own work: a row for each cricket number, a box for the marks and a box for the points in each cell, and a points total. Checked on 2026-10-05 against the English Wikipedia article Cricket (darts) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricket_(darts)): two to four players or teams; the numbers 15 to 20 and the bullseye; three hits to open or close, on one or more turns and in any order; a double as two hits and a triple as three; the outer bullseye one hit and 25 points, the inner two hits and 50; the slash, the X and the circled X of a chalk scoreboard; points for further hits on an opened number, excess hits of the opening throw among them, until the opponent closes it; the win by closing everything with equal or more points; a game called early; a score not recorded before the next throw; the diddle; three darts a turn; cut-throat scoring; the variant with no scoring after a number is closed. That 21 marks is everything closed is seven numbers times three. No maker, board, league or event is named. Licence: own work

How it works

This cricket darts scoreboard is for the darts game of cricket, not the bat and ball sport. It has a row for each number from 20 down to 15 and one for the bull, with a box for marks and a box for points.

Mark a turn

Type the names under Player 1 and Player 2. After each turn of three darts, type the marks so far on each number, 0 to 3: a double is two marks and a triple three. Once you have opened a number, type the points you have scored on it. The points total adds itself.

No points and cut-throat

No points counts marks only: 21 marks is everything closed, and the first there wins. Cut-throat is for three or four, where points go to the others and the lowest total wins. Print blank sheet prints the open sheet.

  • Type the points yourself: the sheet adds them and does not work out who may still score.
  • Points on the 19s go up in 19s, and the box marks a number that does not fit.

Questions and answers

How do you keep score in cricket darts?

Each hit on 15 to 20 or the bull is a mark, and three marks open or close a number. Hits on a number you opened first score its value until your opponent closes it. The scoreboard tracks marks and points for each side.

What do the marks on a cricket scoreboard mean?

On a chalkboard one hit is a slash, the second turns it into an X and the third puts a circle round the X: that number is closed. On this sheet you type 1, 2 or 3 in the marks box.

How do you win at cricket darts?

Be the first to close all six numbers and the bull with equal or more points than your opponent. A player who has closed everything but trails on points keeps scoring on the numbers the opponent has left open.

Do I need a dart cricket scoreboard app?

No. The sheet runs in the browser of a phone or tablet with nothing to install, and it works as a cricket dart scoreboard app for PC too: open this page on the computer nearest the board.

What is cut-throat cricket?

A way to score with three or more sides. Hits on a number you have opened give points to every player who has not closed it, and the lowest total wins.
