How it works
Type one keyword or several, such as a sport, a street or an inside joke, and press New team name. Your word lands in the middle of every name, between an opener and a team ending.

Start with your keywords
Type one word, or a few with commas between them. Until you do, the names use sample keywords such as Pickle and Tailgate, and the first word you type replaces all of them.
Keep the tone you like
Openers and endings come in four tones: funny, tough, classic and work-safe. The lock beside a part keeps it; the swap button changes that part alone. For a funny team name generator using keywords, lock an ending such as Overthinkers and change the opener.
Print a sheet to vote on
Print 30 team names keeps your keywords and your locks, so every line on the sheet is built around your words.
Tips
- Two-word keywords work too: Maple Street, Mail Room, Book Fair.
- A keyword typed in small letters is given a capital for you.
Questions and answers
How does a keyword team name generator work?
It keeps your word and draws the words around it. Each press takes one opener and one ending from two lists and puts one of your keywords between them: Fearsome Pickle Crushers, Golden Tailgate United.
Can I use more than one keyword?
Yes. Put commas between them. Each name uses one keyword, and the swap button on the Keyword row moves to another of yours. With a single keyword, every name is built around that one.
Do the names work for an office or project team?
Yes. The work-safe tone has openers such as Deadline-Driven and Well-Organized and endings such as Analysts and Steering Group, and every entry on the page is clean. Type the department or the project as the keyword.
How is this different from the team name generator?
The team name generator pairs a first word with a mascot chosen by sport and takes no typed word. This page has no mascot list: your keyword is the middle of every name.
