Height Spin the Wheel for Characters: how it works
This height spin the wheel page holds 37 heights, one for every inch from 4 ft 0 in to 7 ft 0 in. Press Spin the wheel: the height shows on the result card in feet and inches, centimeters and total inches. Pick a band first, Small to Towering, when the role calls for short or tall.
Five bands on one flat wheel
The five band chips carry their own ranges, from Small (4 ft 0 to 4 ft 6) up to Towering (6 ft 5 to 7 ft 0). On All, the height wheel spinner gives each height one chance in 37, so 4 ft 2 in is as likely as 5 ft 8 in. Real crowds bunch toward the middle. For a believable cast, spin most characters on Middle and one or two on All.
A line-up sheet from a few spins
Switch to Elimination and spin once per character, so no two share a height, then rule one line each across the sheet. Figure drawing counts height in heads: an average figure is about seven and a half heads tall, an idealized one eight, a heroic one eight and a half, with the extra length in the chest and legs. Towering means longer legs, not a stretched copy of a shorter character.
Tips
Spin twice and subtract for a gap. 6 ft 3 in and 5 ft 1 in are 75 and 61 inches: 14 inches apart, about 36 cm.
Writing in metric? Each figure is rounded, so neighbors sit 2 or 3 cm apart: 5 ft 6 in is 168 cm, 5 ft 7 in is 170 cm.

Which heights can the wheel land on?
The wheel of heights holds 37: every whole inch from 4 ft 0 in (122 cm) to 7 ft 0 in (213 cm). Small, Short and Middle hold seven each, Tall and Towering eight. The full list is under the wheel.
How are feet and inches turned into centimeters?
One inch is exactly 2.54 cm by definition. Each height was converted at 2.54 cm to the inch and rounded to the nearest whole centimeter. 5 ft 7 in is 67 inches, and 67 times 2.54 is 170.18, so the card shows 170 cm.
Do the bands decide who counts as short or tall?
No. Small, Short, Middle, Tall and Towering are sorting labels for made-up characters, cut so each band holds seven or eight heights. They are not medical or statistical categories and describe no real person. If your world runs taller, ignore the labels and use the numbers.
