How this list was compiled: A list of 105 martial arts tournament names written by Wheel of Teams on 2026-10-03 and filed in four groups. They are our own suggestions. Every name carries a word of karate, judo, jiu-jitsu or taekwondo (a belt, a mat, a bow, kata, randori, a guard, poomsae) and names an event for a school or a club, not a team and not a tournament in a story. The terms were looked up on 2026-10-03 in the English Wikipedia's articles Karate (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karate), Judo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judo), Brazilian jiu-jitsu (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_jiu-jitsu) and Taekwondo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taekwondo), text under CC BY-SA 4.0. No federation, school, family, promotion, film or game is named. Each name was also looked up in the English Wikipedia on 2026-10-03, as an article title and as an exact phrase in the text of its articles, and none stood there as an event; that look-up does not find a local event. Compared by script the same day with every other list on this site: no name is repeated. Nothing was checked against a trademark register, so a local tournament may share a name by coincidence.
