Throw, catch and net puns is the first set. Women's and college teams is for a campus side, Company and community is for an office or a housing society league, and the funny set is for a team that drops the ball.
The rules in the names
The ball is caught with both hands and thrown back over the net with one hand within three seconds. Dubs is the fault of letting the ball move in the hands. The neutral box lies on either side of the center, and players stand 2-3-2 for a serve.

How many players are on a throwball team?
An official game is played between two teams of seven or nine players, with substitutes. Seven on Court and Seven Strong Throwers are named for the smaller side.
Is throwball the same as volleyball?
No. In volleyball the ball is hit or volleyed; in throwball it is caught and thrown over the net. Not Volleyball, We Promise and We Don't Volley are jokes about that.
