How it works
This volleyball lineup maker, a lineup generator for rec, school and club coaches, picks six starters for every set and writes each one into a court position from 1 to 6, the order they serve in.

Make the lineup
Replace the sample names with your team, one per line. Set the number of sets, then read each column top to bottom as that set's lineup sheet: position 1 serves first, then 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Print it for the bench or copy it as text.
How the bench is shared
Six start and the rest sit. Nine players over three sets make nine bench turns, so everyone sits out one set. With eight there are six turns: six players sit once and two start every set. Press Next game and those two sit first.
Questions and answers
Does it show the rotation during a set?
No, it gives the starting spots. Under the rules, when your team wins back the serve everyone moves one place clockwise: position 2 goes to 1 and serves, 1 goes to 6. The order on the sheet stays fixed for the whole set.
Can a bench player come in during a set?
Yes, within your rules. International rules allow six substitutions a team per set, and a starter who comes off may return once, only to the same place in the order. Rec leagues often allow more. The chart only changes players between sets.
Where does the libero go?
The chart has no libero spot. Leave your libero off the list and write them in by hand: a libero replaces a back-row player without using a substitution, and cannot attack the ball from above net height.
