A sign up sheet for sand doubles

Sand doubles takes a team to a line: two names and one phone number. Beach volleyball is played two a side with no substitutes, so there is no third name to ask for.

Splitting the list into teams

Read down Position before you split the names. The setter runs a side's attack, so share out the players who wrote S first.

Questions and answers

Is this volleyball sign up sheet template free?

Yes. Print it with every box empty and let players sign by pen, or type the names you already have and print it filled. Either way it is one portrait page of US Letter or A4, and no account is asked for.

How many players does a volleyball team need?

Six on the court at a time in the indoor game, so twelve names fill both sides of the net with nobody resting. The sheet opens on 16 lines, which leaves each side two to swap in.

What does libero mean under Position?

The libero is a back-row player who specializes in defense and wears a jersey of a different color from the rest of the team. On the sheet it is the L.
