Arabic names for a group of friends or a group chat
Groups and friends holds the words for a group itself: Majmu'a (مجموعة), group; Fariq (فريق), team; Taqam (طاقم), crew; and Kawkaba (كوكبة), group, constellation. Class, talk and outings suits a study group or a chat: Dardasha (دردشة), chat; Hikaya (حكاية), story, tale; Lughz (لغز), riddle; and Nukta (نكتة), joke.
Arabic team names for sport
Strength and sport has Fawz (فوز), win, victory; Butula (بطولة), championship, bravery; Shaja'a (شجاعة), courage, bravery; and Mughamir (مغامر), adventurer. Animals adds Namir (نمر), leopard, tiger; Shibl (شبل), lion cub; and Tinnin (تنين), dragon. Sky and weather has Najm (نجم), star and Qamar (قمر), moon.

What is the Arabic word for a group?
Majmu'a (مجموعة), group, is the plain word. Close to it on the list are Zumra (زمرة), group of people; Jawqa (جوقة), choir, troupe; Sirb (سرب), flock; and Qafila (قافلة), caravan.
How are the Arabic names written in Latin letters?
From the transliteration in each word's Wiktionary entry, made plain: no dots or lines, and sh, kh, gh, th and dh each for one Arabic letter. An apostrophe inside a name stands for hamza or ʿayn. The Arabic spelling in brackets is the exact word.
Are these the names of real Arab clubs or teams?
None was copied from one. Each word was searched on Wikipedia, alone and with Al or El in front, and went out when that title is a club, a party, a newspaper, a book or a person. One in a national side's nickname went too.
