How it works
In blind draw darts nobody brings a partner. Players sign up alone, the names are drawn two at a time, and each pair plays the night as a doubles team. This page does the drawing.

How to run a blind draw dart tournament
Take sign-ups from single players, then close the sheet. Paste the names over the sample, one per line, and press Make teams. Each card is one doubles team.
Draw the bracket lines too
The team numbers come out in random order, so they double as the bracket draw: type the teams into the bracket maker from Team 1 down.
Play it off
Name the game before the draw: 501 and Cricket are the usual two. A blind draw runs as single or double elimination. In double elimination a team goes out on its second loss, so one bad match does not end the night. Eight pairs fit the 8 team double elimination bracket.
- Playing triples? Set Players per team to 3 before the draw.
Questions and answers
What is the difference between a blind draw and a seeded tournament?
A seeded bracket ranks the teams on past results and sends the top seed against the lowest. A blind draw ranks nobody: who partners whom and who meets whom are both left to the luck of the draw.
What if an odd number of players sign up for a blind draw?
The last card holds one player, and the draw, not the organiser, picks who it is. House rules for a player without a partner differ, so settle yours before the draw.
Does a blind draw work for cornhole or pool?
Yes. The draw reads only names, so one press pairs a cornhole or pool night the same way. Blind draws are usual at all three games.
Is the blind draw really random?
Yes. Every name is shuffled by chance, and its place on the sign-up sheet changes nothing. A second press redraws every team, so make one draw in front of the room and keep it.
