How a question works

Read the three clues and tap one of the four sports. Your pick is marked right or wrong at once, and a note names the sport and the fact that settles it, with a link to the article it was checked in. No clue uses a word from the sport's own name.

Easy, Medium and Hard

How do you play guess the sport?

Read three clues and tap one of four sports. The answer is marked at once, with the reason. After ten questions the card shows how many you got right, and Next 10 starts another round.

Which sports are in the quiz?

Sixty of the 275 on our random sport generator: 20 easy ones such as soccer, swimming and golf, 20 medium such as fencing, water polo and biathlon, and 20 hard such as kabaddi, skeleton and sepak takraw.

Is this guess the sport quiz good for kids?

It was written with children in mind. The Easy level keeps to sports most children have seen, each clue is one short sentence, and every answer comes with a plain explanation.

Each fact was checked on October 1, 2026 in the sport's own English Wikipedia article, which is linked under the answer. The clue wording, the wrong choices and the explanations are our own.
