This rock paper scissors generator throws rock, paper or scissors at random. To play against it, show your own hand as you press: a closed fist for rock, a flat hand for paper, two fingers in a V for scissors.

Play against the generator
Count rock, paper, scissors, shoot and press the button on shoot, as you show your hand. The line under the wheel's throw says what it beats, what beats it and what it ties with.
A throw for each player
On a call or in a chat nobody can see a hand. Each player presses once and says the throw out loud, and the throw that beats the other wins the round.
Let it throw for you
Against a person, press out of sight and show the hand the wheel gave you. A throw you did not choose leaves the other player no habit to read.

Questions and answers
Is the rock paper scissors random generator fair?
Yes. Rock, paper and scissors each take a third of the wheel, and every press picks one of them by chance in your browser. Earlier throws change nothing: three rocks in a row say nothing about the fourth throw.
Can you beat a rock paper scissors generator?
Not over a long run. A throw picked evenly at random has no pattern to read, so whatever you show wins one time in three, ties one in three and loses one in three.
Why does paper beat rock?
Paper covers rock, as the game's saying goes. Rock crushes scissors and scissors cut paper in the same way, so each throw beats one and loses to one, and none of the three is stronger than the others.
What happens if both players throw the same thing?
It is a tie and nobody wins the round. A tied round is usually played again until one throw beats the other, so count again, show your hand and press for a new throw.
What does shoot mean in rock paper scissors?
Shoot is said at the moment the hands are shown. Players count rock, paper, scissors on three beats and show their throw on what would be the fourth, often saying shoot as they do.
