Make the lineup
Replace the sample names with your outfield players, one per line, and leave your keeper off. Set how many shifts you use across two halves, then print the chart for the bench. Each column is the four who go on together.
How the bench is shared
Four play, the rest wait. Eight players make two full units, so everyone plays every other shift and nobody sits twice running. With ten over eight shifts there are 48 bench turns: eight players sit five times and two sit four. The fair rotation also moves players between back, wings and front.
Questions and answers
Where is the goalkeeper?
Not on the chart. Futsal is five a side, one of them the goalkeeper, who usually plays the whole half. Type only outfield players; if two keepers split the game, write the change at half time.
How do substitutions work in futsal?
They are unlimited and made on the fly, even while the ball is in play, and the player coming off must leave the court before the substitute goes on. A match sheet can name up to nine substitutes.
Are fixo, ala and pivot fixed spots?
No. The laws name only the goalkeeper, and outfield players switch roles freely during play. The chart names the four usual roles so each player knows where to start, and moves them around so everyone tries each one.
