Soccer Team Wheel: Spin 144 Clubs From 7 Leagues: how it works

This soccer team wheel holds 144 men's clubs: every club in the top divisions of England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Mexico, plus the 30 clubs of the league the USA and Canada share. Spin and one club comes up. Tap a country chip to narrow it: 1 in 20 for England, 1 in 18 for Germany.

A random soccer team generator for a new save

One use is as a random FIFA team generator: a team randomizer for a new career save in the football video game, or a side to follow for a season. It may land on a champion or a newcomer: Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain won their leagues in 2025–26, while SV Elversberg are in the Bundesliga for the first time.

Seven leagues on the soccer wheel, one chip each

The wheel takes 150 names at most, so it carries seven leagues in full and opens with all 144 clubs on. Each country chip cuts it to one top division: 20 clubs for England, Spain and Italy, 18 for Germany, France and Mexico. USA and Canada works as an MLS team wheel, 30 clubs.

Tips

  • Want a rebuild? The list below marks promoted clubs: Coventry City are back after 25 years, Le Mans after 16 and Racing Santander after 14.
  • For a derby wheel, type one city's clubs into My list: London has six, Mexico City four and Madrid three.
  • For a tournament night, tap one country, spin once per player in Elimination, then seed the clubs in the 8 team bracket.

Questions and answers

Which leagues are on the wheel?

The top men's division of England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Mexico, plus the league shared by the USA and Canada: 144 clubs. Portugal, the Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina and national teams are left off; type any of those into My list. Each list was checked on 18 September 2026 against the season's Wikipedia article and, where it could be read, the league's own site.

Is there a random MLS team generator here?

Yes. Tap USA and Canada for the 30 clubs of the 2026 season, three of them Canadian: CF Montréal, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The wheel follows the league in printing Red Bull New York for the club many fans still call the New York Red Bulls.

Is a soccer wheel spin fair when leagues differ in size?

Every club on the wheel has the same chance: 1 in 144 with All on. USA and Canada comes up more often than Germany only because it has 30 clubs to 18. To draw the country too, type the seven into My list, spin, then tap Teams and the winner's chip.

How this list was compiled: 144 men's club sides: every club in the top division of England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Mexico, plus the 30 clubs of the league shared by the USA and Canada. The wheel holds at most 150 entries, so the top divisions of Portugal, the Netherlands, Brazil and Argentina and the national teams, which were checked in the same pass, are left off this page. Every club list was checked on 2026-09-18 against the current-season article on Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026–27_Premier_League (20 clubs), 2026–27_La_Liga (20), 2026–27_Bundesliga (18), 2026–27_Serie_A (20), 2026–27_Ligue_1 (18), Major_League_Soccer and 2026_Major_League_Soccer_season (30) and Liga_MX (18). The same day the club lists were checked against the leagues' own pages where those could be read: fantasy.premierleague.com/api/bootstrap-static (the league's own game data), laliga.com/en-GB/laliga-easports/clubs, bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/clubs, ligue1.com/en, mlssoccer.com/clubs and ligamx.net. The Italian league site could not be read, so that list was checked a second time against en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serie_A. Club names are the common English names used in those season tables; the league sites print the same clubs under local or longer names. One club is listed under the name its league now prints, Red Bull New York. 'Plays in' is the location given in the season table. Finishing places are for the last completed season and are dated. Names are plain text used to describe the wheel; no crests, colors or artwork are used. European lists are re-checked every August and the lists from the Americas every February.
