How this list was compiled

A list of 110 bass tournament names written by Wheel of Teams on 2026-10-02 and filed in five groups. Every name carries a word of bass fishing (a largemouth, a livewell, a weigh-in, a lure) and names the event, not a team. The terms were looked up on 2026-10-02 in the English Wikipedia articles Bass fishing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bass_fishing), Fishing tournament (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fishing_tournament), Largemouth bass, Smallmouth bass, Bass boat, Livewell, Surface lure, Fishing lure, Kayak fishing and Johnboat, and lunker in Wiktionary (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/lunker), text under CC BY-SA 4.0. No name was taken from a tournament trail, a sponsor, a lake or a maker of boats or tackle. Each name was also looked up in the English Wikipedia on 2026-10-02, as an article title and as an exact phrase in the text of its articles, and none stood there as an event; that look-up does not find a local event. Compared by script the same day with every other list on this site: no name is repeated. Nothing was checked against a trademark register, so a local derby may share a name by coincidence.
