Fly under your own call sign

Type it in Your call sign or hangar, Magpie for one, and it leads every name: Magpie Rivet Mech Squad. Lock a part to keep it and press for the others. Print 30 team names gives the crew a sheet to mark.

    Mechs, lances and wings

Wikipedia’s Mecha article describes mechs as the giant robots or machines of science fiction, piloted or sentient and typically humanoid walking vehicles. Its article on the lance fournie calls that lance a medieval equivalent to the modern army squad, which is why Mech Lance sits among the unit words.

    How this list was compiled

Own list written for this page on 2026-10-09 for an invented squad of piloted machines in a story or a tabletop game: everyday words of sparks, rock, weather and the workshop. No entry is a weapon or the name of a machine, a pilot or a unit in a series or a game. Checked by script the same day: no entry repeats an entry of another list on this site, no word sits in two parts of one name, and no pair of neighboring parts appears in the text of sixteen Wikipedia articles on mecha series and games, among them https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mecha and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mecha_anime_and_manga. A group in a published story or game may still use a result. Licence: own work
