How it works
Press New party name and three parts follow The: an opener, serious or funny, an emblem that is a beast, an object, a place or a mishap, and a band word such as Venturers or Rescue Party.

Name the party after where it met
Type the place in Where your party met, for example Ferry Inn, and it takes the emblem's place: The Wayward Ferry Inn Venturers. The lock beside a part keeps it; the swap button changes that part alone. Print 30 party names makes a sheet for the table to vote on.
Serious or funny
Serious openers read like a chronicle: Oathbound, Road-Worn, Starbound. Funny ones record how the last session went: Slightly Singed, Easily Sidetracked, Bravely Retreating. Pair a funny opener with a mishap such as Burnt Stew or Missed Ferry and the name tells the story.
Tips
- For a serious name, change the emblem until it lands on a beast or an object: The Oathbound White Stag Companions.
Questions and answers
Is this an adventure group name generator for any tabletop game?
Yes. No game system, setting or published world is named, so a party name fits any fantasy tabletop game, a story or a play-by-post group. Every part is an ordinary word or a plain compound.
Does this fantasy group name generator make fantasy league names?
No. It names a party of characters in a fantasy story or game: The Starbound Copper Fox Seekers. For a fantasy sports team, use the fantasy football team name generator.
Are the names taken from a published game or show?
No. The three lists are our own, and no pair of neighboring parts appears in Wikipedia's articles on actual play and on three published actual-play shows, read on the day of writing. A table somewhere may still use a result.
