Notes

Every heading can be typed over
Position can become Grade, Age or Shirt size, and Phone can become Email. The heading you type prints on the blank sheet too.
The line number is not the shirt number
Player 1 to Player 15 only count the lines. List the team in shirt order, or by last name for a league form.
Contact is the adult to call
For a youth team write a parent or guardian in Contact and that adult's number in Phone.

How it works

This roster sheet opens on 15 numbered lines. Type over a heading to make it yours, then print the roster blank or filled. No team or player is loaded.

A blank roster sheet for any sport

Nothing on the form names a sport, so the same page prints as a soccer roster sheet, a football team roster template or a youth football roster template.

A baseball roster template and a softball roster template

Baseball or softball swaps the Phone and Contact boxes for Bats and Throws. Its notes list the position letters and the marks for a right-hander, a left-hander and a switch hitter.

  • Collecting details at the first practice? Print the roster blank and pass it round on a clipboard.

Questions and answers

Can I print a blank roster?

Yes. Print blank sheet prints the numbered lines and the headings with every box empty. For a file in place of paper, choose Save as PDF in the print window.

Is it safe to type phone numbers into a printable roster?

Nothing typed is sent to us, but it stays in this browser, and Clear sheet keeps a copy for Undo. On a shared or school computer use a private window, or print the roster blank and write the numbers by pen.

How many players fit on the roster sheets?

The sheet opens with 15 lines. The ready sizes set 10, 20 or 25 at once, and one more line can go under the last whenever the team grows.

Is there a roster sheet made for one sport?

For basketball, yes: the basketball roster template has height and grade boxes and a tryout list. For a game-day baseball card, use the batting order template.
