How it works

This washer toss score keeper is a scoreboard in your browser, not a board to hang by the boxes: each round you type the washers that scored, and it adds the points and keeps both teams' totals up to 21.

Score a round

House rules and other boards

Round points only takes one number a team a round: count the round by your house rule and type the points.

  • A team that scored nothing in a round leaves its two boxes empty.

Questions and answers

How do you keep score in washer toss?

A washer in the cup, a ringer, scores 3 and a washer inside the box scores 1. The team throwing second can wash out the first team's points, so count only the washers that still score once the round is over.

How many points do you need to win washers?

Games are normally played to 21. This scoreboard is set to 21 and marks the team that gets there.

How far apart are washer toss boxes?

About 20 feet, often set by a string fixed to the front of each box. Without a string, ten paces from box to box comes to about the same distance.

Is there a score keeper for a 3 hole washer board?

Yes: the Round points only sheet. The points of each hole are not preset, so it works with whatever your set's rules give.

Can I print a washer toss score sheet?

Yes. With no score typed, the main button prints the sheet empty: numbered rounds, a Cup box and a Box box for each team, and the points of a washer underneath.
