Score a meet: best snatch plus best clean and jerk
Type each lifter's name over Lifter 1, then the weight of every good lift; a missed lift goes in as 0. The highest total is marked Leading.
Squat, bench press and deadlift
On Squat, bench, deadlift, three misses in one lift put a lifter out of the overall result, so that total stays at 0.
On a phone the snatch boxes show first; slide the sheet sideways for the clean and jerk.
Two powerlifters on the same total? One international rule book ranks the lighter lifter higher, so write each bodyweight after the name.
Questions and answers
How is weightlifting scored?
Each lifter gets three attempts at the snatch, then three at the clean and jerk. The heaviest good lift of each is added into the total, and lifters are compared on that total within a weight class.
What happens if a lifter misses all three snatches?
The lifter fails to total and is entered as incomplete for the competition. The same goes for three missed clean and jerks. On this sheet the total shows 0.
How is a powerlifting total worked out?
Each lifter has three attempts at the squat, the bench press and the deadlift. The best valid attempt on each is added into the total, and the highest total in a weight class wins.
Can I print a blank weightlifting score sheet?
Yes. Print blank sheet prints the open sheet with its rows empty: ten lifters to start, or up to 24 on one Letter or A4 page once you press Add a lifter. After typing, Print this meet prints the names and lifts.
