Scoring key

A game is three periods
A professional game plays three of 20 minutes. Recreational and children's leagues often play three shorter ones.
Overtime is sudden death
Where it is played, the first goal ends the game. Leave the row empty when the game ends in regulation.
A shoot-out win counts as one goal
Whatever the shooters scored, the winner's final score is one more than the tied score. Type 1 for the side that won.
Minor 2, double minor 4, major 5, misconduct 10
The minutes of a penalty, to write on its line.
A penalty line: number, minutes, call
As 14, 2, tripping.

Names and scores stay in this browser. New game clears the scores.

  • Hockey final score with overtime and shoot-out The goals of the three periods and overtime, and one more for the side that won a shoot-out.
  • Hockey penalty line One line for each penalty of a team: the number of the player sent off, the minutes and the call, as 14, 2, tripping.

How it works

This hockey score sheet is the game sheet a scorekeeper fills in: goals by period for both teams, overtime, a shoot-out win and the final score, with numbered penalty lines underneath. It prints blank for the scorer's table.

Fill out the score sheet

Type the team names under Away and Home. When a period ends, type the goals each team scored in it, a 0 included. A goal in overtime goes in Overtime. After a shoot-out, type 1 in the Shoot-out won row for the winner.

Log a penalty

Each penalty takes a line in its team's column: the player's number, the minutes and the call, as 14, 2, tripping.
