How it works
This dance team tryout score sheet is a coach's table in one browser tab: a row for each dancer by tryout number, five skills scored out of 10 and a total out of 50. It prints blank, with no sign-up.

Score a dancer: five skills out of 10
A row is one dancer, known by the number pinned on, and the Name box can stay empty. Type a score from 0 to 10 under Turns, Leaps, Kicks, Memory and Show, in half points if you like, and the row adds up: 8, 7.5, 9, 6 and 8.5 make 39. The highest total is marked Leading.
Several judges, one list of dancers
Hand each judge a blank print and keep the dancers in number order on all of them. The sheet in the browser holds one judge's scores; add a dancer's totals across the prints to compare the whole panel's view.
- Pinned numbers that do not run from 1? Type the real number in the Name box of the row.
Questions and answers
Does it work as a dance audition score sheet?
Yes. For a studio company or a show the sheet is used unchanged: a number for each dancer, a score from 0 to 10 for each skill and the total. Only the printed title says tryout.
What is scored at a dance team tryout?
On this sheet: turns, leaps, kicks, memory of the taught routine and showmanship. They are our own pick of skills. A team that weighs other things, such as flexibility or a style of its own, scores those on its own form.
Can I print a blank dance tryout score sheet?
Yes. While the boxes are empty the main button prints twelve numbered rows on one Letter or A4 page, with a box under each of the five skills and one for the total. Print a copy for every judge.
How do I pick the team from the totals?
Read down the Tot column. The sheet marks the highest total Leading, or Tied when two share it. It does not sort the rows, mark lower ties or draw a cut line, so decide beforehand how a tie at the cut is settled.
