How it works
This printable cheerleading score sheet is a judge's table in one browser tab: a row for each team, five categories weighted to 100 and a deductions column that comes off the score. A second sheet scores a tryout by number.

Score a routine and take the deductions off
Type the team's name over Team 1, then a score from 0 to 10 under Stunts, Tumbling, Jumps, Motions and Effect. Under Minus goes the number of points the event takes off. The sheet weights the five scores and subtracts: 8, 7, 9, 8 and 8 with 2 off make 77.
Score a tryout by number
Tryout by number has a row for each candidate and five boxes that count the same: jumps, tumbling, motions, voice and dance, 50 in all.
- A division with no tumbling? Leave Tumbling empty in every row, and the most a routine can score is 80.
Questions and answers
How is a cheerleading competition scored?
Judges weigh the difficulty of a team's jumps, stunts and tumbling and how cleanly they are done, its timing as one squad, sharp motions and showmanship. Mistakes such as a dropped stunt cost deductions. Each event's own sheet sets the points.
How many points is a deduction in cheerleading?
That is set by whoever runs the event: what a dropped stunt or a missed landing costs is in its own rules. The Minus box takes whatever number those rules give.
Is this a cheer tryout score sheet too?
Yes, on the second sheet. Candidates wear a number and are scored on it, so a judge writes no names. The five boxes are our own pick; a squad that scores other skills uses its own form.
Can I print a blank cheerleading score sheet?
Yes. With nothing typed yet the main button prints the open sheet empty on one Letter or A4 page: eight team rows, a box for every category, one for the deductions and one for the score.
