How it works
A four team bracket has no byes and no opening round: both games of round one are semifinals. Seed 1 plays Seed 4, Seed 2 plays Seed 3, and the winners meet in Game 3 for the title.

Two semifinals, no byes
Four teams fill all four lines of the sheet, so nobody waits and every team needs two wins. Game 1 is 1 v 4 and Game 2 is 2 v 3; if the higher seeds win, the final is Seed 1 against Seed 2. The two losers are out after one game each.
Courts and slots
One court needs three slots. Two courts need two: both semifinals side by side, then the final. A third court saves nothing. On one court the Game 2 winner goes into the final with no slot off, while the Game 1 winner has rested for one.
Tips
- No rankings? Type four names and press Random draw: it decides who meets whom in the semifinals.
Questions and answers
How many games does a 4 team single elimination bracket take?
Three: two semifinals and the final. Switch from Single to Double and the same four play 6 or 7 games, as on the 4 team double elimination bracket. A round robin of four is six games.
Can players use it as a 4 man tournament bracket?
Yes. Put one player on each line of Your teams and it is a 4 player tournament bracket for darts, cornhole or table tennis: three matches, and the champion wins two.
Who plays whom when the four are seeded?
The first line of Your teams is Seed 1 and the last is Seed 4. First plays fourth and second plays third, so the two highest seeds can meet only in the final.
What if one team drops out, or a fifth enters?
Set the Teams box to 3 or 5; for a dropout, delete its line in Your teams first. With three, Seed 1 waits in the final for the 2 v 3 winner. With five, Seed 4 plays Seed 5 for a semifinal against Seed 1.
